To begin the waterproofing project, our System Design Specialist Brad Painchaud arrived at the home in Andover and performed a full inspection. WaterGuard is an interior installation and doesn’t require any excavation of the outside soil. It’s designed to capture the water at the cold joints in the foundation of the home and carry it to the sump pump to be released outside.

To begin the project, System Design Specialist Robert Griffin arrived in Marion to perform a thorough inspection on the wet basement to develop possible solutions. This is an older home, and it was determined that the point of entry for the water was near the brick fireplace and high moisture content in the south wall. The team began waterproofing the basement by installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the full perimeter. Next, CleanSpace waterproof barrier was applied to all the walls to prevent any moisture or water vapor from entering the space. Lastly, a TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to guarantee the basement stays dry year-round.
