As you can see, this wall had some structural issues. Our team got onsite and was able to close up the crack by permanently stabilizing the foundation!
After noticing damage to the brick façade of the houses exterior during our inspection, we ruled out settlement as the cause and found that failing walls behind the finished walls in the basement were the root cause of the water problem this homeowner was experiencing. Water had found its way into the basement through gaps created by the shearing walls, allowing mold and rot to flourish in the damp, dark environment.
Using a combination of PowerBrace beams, a wall anchor and our EverBrace wall support system, we were able to stabilize the basement walls. To resolve the water issue, we installed our WaterGuard interior drainage system along with a sump pump system and vapor barrier to redirected water out of the home. We also installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to resolve the high humidity in the basement.
This home's walls in the room below the stoop are made of red brick and they're experiencing severe deterioration. There are very large cracks and the main support beam is sagging. To prevent complete wall failure from damaging the home, we installed EverBrace on three walls in the stoop room and four SupportJacks to the support beam. EverBrace acts like a new foundation wall so the homeowner won't have to worry about the brick anymore!

Becky M. moved into her home a couple of months ago and was looking to start getting it back in order. Her driveway was uneven and the concrete was starting to crack. Looking for a long term solution, she decided to call Thrasher after receiving a referral from a friend, who had a great experience with us.
We sent System Design Specialist, Matt Rehn out to her home. He was able to identify that her driveway and garage were starting to crack due to street creep and she didn’t have her control joints caulked correctly. We installed a 3 part concrete protection system and compression guard, to fix the settling concrete and stop the street creep from impacting her driveway and garage.
