The foundation walls in this home were deflecting inwards due to increasing pressure from the soil. To fix this, we stabilized the foundation walls using our PowerBrace wall system.
This homeowner wanted to protect their home to maintain its value. They know this is their retirement home, so they must keep it in good shape for their future. Since they've worked with Thrasher in the past on other homes, they knew they could trust us to get the job done right.
Dillon Gubbels was the one to perform the inspection. He found that the house had wall failure along the back wall's foundation. This was causing separation cracks on their interior drywall. The soil outside their home was driving this problem and the pressure is applied to their foundation.
We fixed this by installing our wall support solution, Geo Anchors. The anchors were the ideal solution to be the least intrusive on their finished interior while stabilizing their foundation.
The customer was happy with the results and even said, "Thrasher is a company that stands behind their work."
This home's retaining wall was caving over. The homeowner is going to rent the bottom half of her home to her son, but the door to that part of the home can barely shut due to the retaining wall. She knows that if it's not fixed then it will fall over and be a bigger issue. To fix this issue, our crew excavated the area in front of the wall and then installed three wall anchors to it.
For over a year Mike A. noticed that certain areas of his concrete have settled. This raised a big concern for him on safety of the concrete. He wanted fix and a solution that would also prevent the rest of the concrete from settling. After hearing about our process, he decided to give us a call.
System Design Specialist Ross Fuhr went out to the home. He was able to identify that the front step and two slabs on the driveway had raised a big concern. To lift the concrete, we used PolyLevel and raised the concrete back up. Then we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to close up the joints and prevent any water from entering again. Mike was impressed with how well the concrete looked!

We sent System Design Specialist Tom Studer to inspect the interior and exterior issues that happened in this homeowner's house. Tom pinpointed settled foundation areas and proposed a plan to stabilize these areas for the long term. The homeowner was relieved that this could be fixed permanently, so she went forward with the project. Tom and his team got straight to work utilizing a push pier system to stabilize the home. This system pushed the home back to its original level and it will keep it stabilized there.
The homeowner was extremely happy with the clean-up process and how friendly the crews were. Check out her lifted home!
