Jill N. is a proud homeowner in Omaha, NE and wants more protection from water damage in her basement. She utilizes the space for storage, but also wants to maintain maximum value for the property in case she ever wanted to sell. Seeking out a permanent waterproofing solution, she reached out to Thrasher because of our reputation, and the all the good things she’s heard from those around her.

 The project began with System Design Specialist Austin Sharon visiting the Omaha home to investigate possible solutions. Jill opted to have Thrasher install our WaterGuard waterproofing system around the entire interior of the foundation walls. WaterGuard is an innovating drainage system that is designed to solve water problems without clogging from the soils underneath. It’s a permanent solution that’s guaranteed to keep the basement dry year-round.

Melva and Larry are homeowners in Omaha, NE, and were eager to finish more of their basement. However, they have battled water problems, and their foundation showed signs of damage. Familiar with our reputation and dedication to permanent solutions, they gave Thrasher a call for basement waterproofing and foundation repair in Omaha. 

Our System Design Specialist Mike Lutmer arrived at the home in Omaha and performed a full inspection of the leaking and damaged walls. After walking Melva and Larry through the process, they opted to have a variety of basement waterproofing and foundation repair solutions installed. Our crews began by installing our compression guard system in the driveway to stop the street creep from putting pressure on the foundation. Then, GeoLock wall anchors were installed to stabilize the foundation and return the walls to their original position. Our WaterGuard interior drainage system and CleanSpace waterproof barrier were installed last to ensure the basement stays dry year-round. 

This customer in Omaha, NE was having issues with the stairs leading up to their home, so they decided to give Thrasher a call. The concrete was cracking and unstable, plus the joints were expanding. PolyLevel was the solution to this problem. PolyLevel is an injectable foam that expands under the surface, leveling and stabilizing the concrete. We then sealed the joints with NexusPro.

This homeowner wanted to fix their cracked driveway before putting their home on the market. When we performed the inspection, we found that the front driveway slabs and back patio were settling really badly. This can occur for three reasons:

1. The soil was poorly compacted when the home was built.
2. Water was entering through the broken control joints and washing out the soil. 
3. The soil dried out underneath the slabs and created voids. When this happens, the slabs loose the support from the soil and sink into the voids.

Luckily, we have solutions to fix these issues. To lift and level the concrete, we used PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that's injected underneath the slab that will compact the soil underneath and fill the void space. And for the control joints and cracks, we used NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal the concrete and keep water from penetrating the surface.
