A collapsing retaining wall that sits beneath a driveway that supports a bridge to the homes garage was in need of replacement. 

Street creep had pushed against the wall to the point of its collapse. Thrasher Foundation Repair replaced the wall with a new poured wall supported by stable fill to keep the pressure conditions consistent. 

We also placed helical tiebacks on two other retaining walls.

Our customer reached out to us when she noticed that her son's room had a water problem. To stop this, we used two products: WaterGuard and CleanSpace. WaterGuard captures water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall/floor joint. It's discreet and easy to install. It's also made of durable plastic that lasts without corrosion or decay. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that prevents moisture from rendering through the walls. This stops issues like rot, mold, rust, odors, and pests. It also acts as an air barrier, making the crawl space more temperature-controlled for warmer floors and lower energy bills. CleanSpace also hinders the movement of harmful gases like radon. When combined with a radon mitigation system, it creates a safer and healthier living environment. By using WaterGuard and CleanSpace, we successfully addressed the water infiltration problem in the finished room. 

Water was coming into this customer's home from the corner of the house, and they couldn't figure out why. We resolved the issue by using our waterproofing system, Waterguard, and CleanSpace.

Homeowner Nevin is beginning to buy and flip houses, and it's important to him to do it right. In this home, he wants to finish the basement but wants to address waterproofing it first. When talking to a few different companies to find the best one to get the job done. He chose Thrasher because of our reputation and clarity when discussing the scope of work. 

Anthony Salcedo inspected Nevin's house. He found the basement had leaking walls and a leaning foundation wall. The best action plan was to install an entire perimeter of wall supports, a complete perimeter drainage system, and a sump pump. 

We installed our water guard system, CleanSpace, to divert any water intrusion through the wall and then installed a sump pump with backup. Next, to fix the leaning foundation wall, we established an entire perimeter of wall anchors to take the weight off and stabilize the failing wall.

Nevin was pleased with the results and happy he chose Thrasher.

Mr. and Mrs. Dixon had been dealing with this problem for awhile now but decided to call Thrasher Foundation Repair when their son tripped over the front stoop and hurt himself. 

Mr. Dixon called and wanted somebody to come out and take a look to see if it was something that could get fixed. The System Design Specialist described to him what we could for him. He explained how we would level the concrete and how it would be done.
