This French drain installation in blowing rock was needed to finish a basement waterproofing job. The drain connects to the sump pump installed in the basement and runs away from the base of the home to keep the water away. We dug the trench out, plumbed the line, capped it with our drain cover and refilled the trench to finish the job.

Standing water, mold growth, and a musty smell plagued this basement. The homeowner felt that the condition of the basement was only getting worse, so she contracted with us after considering several other contractors. We waterproofed her basement from the interior with a WaterGuard system that catches water as it comes through the block walls and runs it to a pump that expels the water away from the base of the home.

This basement was extremely messy and was plagued by constant water intrusion. To solve this problem, we installed our WaterGuard drainage waterproofing system around the perimeter and CleanSpace vapor barrier to the walls. This keeps water out of the basement, collects it, and then disposes of the water outside the home.
