These homeowners were struggling with a lot of moisture in their crawl space and wanted to utilize this space for extra storage. Concerned they reached out to Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair for a solution. A design specialist was sent to their home to address their concerns and together it was decided that a full encapsulation of their crawl space was the right solution for their home. A full encapsulation starts with removing all the trash and leveling everything out. Next comes drainage matting which is a dimpled plastic that allows water and moisture to flow freely underneath the vapor barrier which is next. The vapor barrier is CleanSpace and is 20 mils thick designed to keep water and moisture out of a crawl space. As you can see from the photos, the results are amazing.
