These Kentucky homeowners never liked to go into their crawl space, because it was nasty and the soil was soggy.
The liner that was over their ground soil was thin and not sealed correctly, so it was not doing anything to prevent moisture from coming into the crawl space's air. The homeowners wanted their space back and they were worried that their nasty crawl space would affect their health, because 50% of the air we breathe upstairs comes from downstairs.. and their downstairs had mold growing in their pink insulation and mold spores on their wood piers.
Our inspector came by for their free inspection and looked around the home and crawl space. He noted the falling insulation, soil ground, and overall moist feel of the space. He suggested encapsulation and discussed different products that would solve their problems and the homeowners agreed they needed them!

This Kentucky crawl space needed our products! There was an excessive amount of moisture that grew mold and mildew. The homeowners were worried about it getting any worse and causing serious health problems.
That's when they were referred to us, Frontier Basement Systems. Our inspector came out and looked around their property and crawl space. He took a few photos for reference and tested moisture levels. He then sat down with the homeowners and went over our encapsulation process with them. They were thrilled to hear that we had a long-lasting solution to their problem.
Our encapsulation process consists of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which reduces moisture and humidity in the crawl space and the CleanSpace Drainage Matting, which is installed under the liner to help any trapped water get to its designated drain.
Along with the liner and matting, we suggest our powerful dehumidifier, the SaniDry Sedona, it keeps the relative humidity in the space below 55%, we also suggest the EverLast Door, it is made to seal out moisture and air and is maintenance-free!
