What made you choose our company:

I had read good reviews on your company and saw before and after pics but Steven Caldwell was the main reason I chose you. I had a couple of other companies come out to look and give me estimates and I crawled up under the house along with them and they said the humidity was high and it needed new vapor barrier or encapsulation and said the humps and low spots in my floor were due to needing support jacks put in and one claimed I needed a sump pump although there has been nothing but a few small puddles in low spots that I know for a fact was from condensation dripping off nails in my floor and the copper pipes but they couldn't show me why the floor up top had bumps or low spots due to floor joists. Also neither of them crawled all the way to the front due to it being pretty low but Steven came out looked at the spots in the floor I was concerned about and took measurements and when we crawled under the house he looked over the joists and went to where the bumps or low spots had been showing topside and showed me that the joists were in fact supporting as they should and showed no signs of being a problem or being unlevel and he explained that the subfloor was holding too much moisture and was in fact bowing up in some spots and sagging in others and that once the crawlspace was encapsulated and a dehumidifier put in that it should draw the moisture out of the plywood subfloor and most of the spots should level back out but that some spots may require work to bring them down but nothing like what the others had said. He said he didn't see where I need jacks and that he saw no signs that there had been or would be enough water under the floor to require a sump pump so rather than saying nothing and going ahead and adding those in to up what they would make he was honest and it saved me $10,000 and I liked his honesty. He didn't try to take advantage of me Also he was a pretty big man. Not fat but the same size as the others and they did not crawl all the way to the front because they said it was too low for them but Steven flattened out and went all the way to the front to make sure he checked every inch of my crawlspace. That impressed me.
