CleanSpace liner was installed on top of the dirt floor which will act as a moisture barrier and give the crawl space a clean finish. SilverGlo insulation was installed on the walls of the crawl space. This 2 inch insulation with a radiant barrier will both insulate and reflect heat back into the crawl space. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona was installed and placed into the area. This dehumidifier will keep humidity below 55% ensuring that the air quality will be cleaner and healthier. A homeowner in Tarrytown, NY had a moisture-filled crawlspace that needed encapsulation. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution. One of our Salesmen, Chris Klonaridis, visited the home, assessed the crawlspace, and proposed our encapsulation solution. 

Soon after it would be time for one of our Foremen, Moises, and his crew to install this job. They installed our Drainage Matting on the floor, and then our CleanSpace vapor barrier on top of it to fully protect and eliminate water and moisture in this crawlspace. SilverGlo insulation was installed on the walls to ensure this space is also energy efficient, allowing the rest of the home to be as well. Our Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate excess moisture and prevent mold growth.

Our SilverGlo insulation was installed on the walls to ensure the whole crawlspace is insulated and keeps air in. A homeowner in Ossining, NY was getting water in their basement that was causing damage. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us come out and solve this problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Steven Godbout, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a solution. 

Once the project was approved, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to begin the installation. 

They installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain system that will collect water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed a TripleSafe sump pump that works using 3 pumps, one of which being a battery backup. This will ensure any water that comes in will get pumped out of the home at a safe distance. A proper discharge line was installed outside so that the water gets pumped out far enough away from the home. Now this basement will stay dry for the long term!
