This Woodbury craw lspace was dark, dirty, and let in a lot of air and moisture. The solution for this basement was to install SilverGlo, Rim Joist Insulation, and CleanSpace Liner in this crawl space. The SilverGlo will properly insulate the crawlspace and the Rim Joist Insulation will prevent any air or moisture from entering the space. The dirt floor of the crawlspace was concealed with a CleanSpace Liner. Not only does this liner make the crawlspace look clean and fresh, but it seals away odors while preventing mold and rot.

A homeowner in Woodbury, CT expressed concerns that her basement was ill equipped to handle unwanted moisture. In need of the proper systems to protect her basement from further water, the homeowner reached out to the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Ron Marra. Marra arrived at the home, discussing potential solutions to help mitigate the homeowner's concerns. Drafting a proposal, Marra suggested installing a TripleSafe sump pump, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and WaterGuard perimeter drain system. With the homeowner on board with Marra's proposal, work soon began.

Foreman Vic Varela arrived on-site with his team, immediately getting to work installing the solutions outlined in Marra's proposal. Following the install, the basement was returned to the homeowner waterproofed and protected against further basement moisture!

In this garage we installed a WaterGuard around the perimeter of the garage as well as a french drain system at the enterance of the garage. Then to remove the water completely we installed a TripleSafe Sump pump.

Keith Rongey was the System Design Specialist who came to the house to give him a free home evaluation. He concluded, that in order to prevent water vapor from entering through the walls, BrightWall Panels would need to be installed. BrightWall panels will direct wall seepage down to the perimeter drain lines that carry water to a sump pump. Not only will BrightWall keep this area dry, but the clean white panels instantly transformed this unpleasant basement into a beautiful one! (as seen in the after picture)

It then channels that water to a sump pump that will discharge the water away from the basement.
