This house looks like it's about to split in half. The ground underneath sunk in which means there was nothing under the house to support this wall causing it to start sinking down. So how do you fix a crack this big? We put some support under to hold it up by installing helical push piers, they not only hold the house up but raise it back up to the right position. These piers can be raised or lowered as necessary.

The photos here show two different methods used in an attempt to stabilize the houses foundation. If you where having foundation problems which of these option would you prefer the wood blocks on a concrete pillar or the smart Jack? The wood is certainly not a long term solution as it can't handle the continued amount of stress nor can it be used to raise the floors to it's original location. Smart jack can do both of those thing with it's easily adjusted height and is ability to support up to 6,000 pounds.

This homeowner had previously supported their sagging floors with a 2x4 but knowing that wouldn't last they decided to call the experts at DryZone to get a permanent solution. The solution we gave them was the SmartJack which will not only prevent further decay but it can also be adjusted to restore the home to it's best shape

This homeowner gave us a call because they had some concerns with the structural integrity of their home. They are looking to move into this home full time and want to ensure all structural issues are addressed. Pilot town engineering also came out to take a look per the request of the homeowner and provide their recommendations. 

While we were taking a look, we noticed the crawlspace was encapsulated by another company. We also noticed water stains on their product which we brought to the homeowners attention. While looking at the structure of the area, we noticed most of the piers were separated from the girder, pilot town recommended the installation of metal shims. Some of the piers look to be leaning, so we will need to correct those as well.

Ultimately, we installed our smartjacks support system, a supplemental beam/girder and floor joists to correct the structure issues. To address the water issues, we installed a smartsump system, ice guard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines, lawnscape at the end of the discharge line and cleanspace with drainage matting to encapsulate the area.
