We installed an EverLast Crawl Space Door in this customer's crawl space to provide a durable, airtight, and energy-efficient solution for sealing the crawl space entrance. The EverLast Crawl Space Door is made from inorganic materials that resist mold, rot, and moisture, ensuring long-term durability. It works by creating a secure seal that prevents outside air, pests, and moisture from entering the crawl space, thereby improving the overall energy efficiency and air quality of the home.

This St. Augustine homeowner was facing a troubling issue water intrusion seeping up from beneath the floors and soaking into the carpet. With a slab foundation and no clear source of entry, it was unclear how long the issue had been going on. Although gutters were recently installed, the water still had nowhere to go.

Our team installed a precise French drain system along the home's perimeter to redirect roof runoff and groundwater away from the foundation. The before photo shows the drainage system mid-installation, carefully wrapped and lined with gravel for proper filtration and flow. The after image shows the finished product clean, effective, and visually seamless. This solution helps protect the slab foundation from future water damage, keeping the interior dry and the home structurally sound.

High humidity in a crawl space causes insulation to fall because the moisture saturates the insulation material, making it heavy and causing it to sag or detach from its position.

At the back of this Atlantic Beach property, years of slope runoff toward a retention pond and a likely crushed underground drain led to backup issues and visible yard erosion. The homeowner had installed pavers for accessibility and aesthetics, but water pooling and drainage failure were starting to undermine the area.

Our team carefully excavated through the pavers, uncovering the buried drainage line and replacing it with new, durable piping to restore proper flow away from the home. With this upgrade, we’ve helped protect the foundation, stop erosion, and preserve the integrity of both the landscaping and hardscaping.

This project is a great example of how proactive drainage solutions can save a yard from costly long-term damage. 

Rainwater was dumping too close to the foundation with short gutter downspouts. Longer downspouts were buried to carry water away from the foundation. This helped to prevent water from pooling around the foundation and causing erosion and water damage.flooding.
