When joists in the crawl space begin to sag because of age, mold, or pest damage, the floors above them will sag as well. This leads to uneven or "bouncy" floors in the living space, which are unpleasant for you and your family to deal with and damage your home's value. Willie reached out to us to get a free estimate because the floors on the first floor of his home were out of level. Our Resident Sales Pro, Waylon came out to see what the main problem was and he discovered that there was a lack of support in the crawl space, causing the floors to sag. In order to fix this, one of our crews installed a few SmartJacks along with a supplemental beam. SmartJacks are made form strong galvanized steel and they're installed on a sturdy base so they don't settle. They can be easily adjusted, which is way they are great for installing in tight spaces, like a crawl space. Willie was very happy with how the work was done and he no longer has sagging floors.

Pressure from the soil on the other side of this foundation wall caused it to bow inward and crack. To halt the inward movement of the wall and provide permanent stabilization, GeoLock Channel Anchors were installed.
