When purchasing the early-1900's home, at first, the home buyers thought only the sagging floors needed repair. That changed after we discovered the dirt crawl space.

Now, dirt crawl spaces are great if you like moisture—but they allow water vapor to rise into the home, and accumulate mold and wood rot in the home itself. So, we addressed it. First, we needed to install our SmartJack© system to stabilize the sagging and sloping floors, especially with how weak some of the home's supports were becoming. Afterwards, we installed our CleanSpace© crawl space encapsulation system, which is two times thicker than the industry standard liner for most encapsulation systems. We're able to install these around existing supports and any SmartJacks©, so every part of the crawl space is encapsulated and the new homeowners won't have to fix it again later. Bacteria and moisture was entering the crawl and caused mold. A sump pump was installed. 

A homeowner was starting to see signs of a sinking foundation inside their cabin. The cabin is located on the side of a hill, and contains a crawl space that is eight feet high. When they went down to examine the crawl space, they found that there were some support posts that had moved. These posts were not touching or supporting the weight above.
