Before contacting Basement Systems of Indiana, Michael and Nadine were looking to improve their basement’s natural light and address concerns about structural stability. They scheduled a free inspection to explore options for a new egress window and foundation support.
Specialist Terry recommended installing a RockWell egress window system with structural enhancements, including a concrete lintel and wall anchors. Foreman Isaias and his crew installed a 48”x48” white sliding window with a RockWell and lid, reinforced by a 72” concrete lintel and up to two rows of block. To stabilize the foundation wall, two PowerBraces were added.
While the window well improves access and light, it does not include waterproofing, so water may collect if not tied into a drainage system. Excavated dirt was left on-site for homeowner use.

- Installed a SuperSump system featuring a cast iron pump, SuperSump liner, airtight lid with floor drain, CleanPump stand, and WaterWatch alarm
- Added an UltraSump battery backup to provide protection during power outages
- Completed the discharge system with two IceGuards, a 10-foot exterior discharge line, and a LawnScape outlet to safely move water away from the home
- Installed an electrical outlet to support system operation
