I had covered my vents to try to keep dust from flowing through the ventilation ducts to the upstairs. The guys even removed them for me as they were leaving so I didn't have to stand on a ladder again. Very thoughtful crew. The job took a bit longer than they had planed, but they persevered to get it done. So far, no water intrusion. Concrete is still curing.
