pump cycles when the water table is up, runs 4 seconds, off for 8 seconds 24/7.

this is apt to be for 6 months. I would like to see a larger reservoir or a means to permit a longer travel in the float mechanism so there wouldn't be as many start ups but longer run times. to me that seems as though it would be better for the switch and pump motor.
