Scott grew concerned with the amount of moisture accumulation in his damp crawl space. He put his trust in Ayers to come up with the best solution. We sent a crew to install our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The powerful system is capable of removing 95 pints of water per day. He will never have to worry about emptying it since it is self-draining. This addition will keep the crawl space dry and smelling better. No more damp, musty smells invading Scott's home!

As the winter season gets closer and closer, energy bills and temperatures for our homes start to come into play; one culprit is crawl space insulation.  Poor crawl space insulation can affect us even without noticing it.  Such effects include higher energy bills, higher relative humidity, the possibility of dust mites, and last but not least..being cold.  Using a product called CleanSpace, we are able to setup a vapor barrier to bring down humidity from the ground and act as insulation.  Doing this not only eliminates or reduces the effects of a poor crawl space, but it also helps to raise a homes value.

Our team of System Design Specialists devised a plan to save his Mt. Pleasant, Michigan home from deteriorating by encapsulating the area with our state-of-the-art CleanSpace products. 

To ensure the integrity of Steven’s home we started by removing the water and installing CleanSpace Drainage Matting. The matting rests directly on the crawl space floor to trap moisture and direct water to your drainage system. The matting is compatible with all of our crawl space products making it cost efficient and convenient.

We then encapsulate the crawl space with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Liner. The thick, durable, liner clings to every inch of the crawl space, guaranteeing that mold and unlikely pests stay out. When combined with the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, virtually no moisture will be present for years to come. 

Larry called us with a crawl space in need of a makeover. With winter approaching, now is the time to secure your house against the elements, and that's what we did on his project.

After installing the Clean Space vapor barrier system to encapsulate the crawl space and protect it - and the house above it - from the ground's ambient moisture, we added SilverGlo insulating wall panels.

With these two changes, not only will the crawl space be protected from the ground below it, but the house will be protected, keeping floors warmer and energy bills lower.

The crawl space of this Charlevoix home had a funny smell-likely from mildew and mold as a result of moisture in the space. A remedy for both the smell and the moisture was the installation of CleanSpace, a durable crawl space liner to seal of the home from the earth. Made with an antimicrobial additive, this liner has multiple layers of plastic to make it durable and tear resistant, providing a barrier from moisture and mold. In order to eradicate the smell and mold even more, we sprayed an anti-microbial compound throughout the space to help reduce allergens. This crawl space is now a healthy, usable space.
