Ron was hoping to get a permanent fix to the water leaks he was dealing with in his basement for a while so he called Ayers for solutions. After an inspection, our System Design Specialists were able to recommend our WaterGuard System, IceGuard, and our LawnScape Outlet.
Our WaterGuard System is a sub-floor drainage system that will collect the water leaking into his basement. It is placed along the perimeter of the basement and concealed with concrete. Then we installed our IceGuard to protect against the clogging or freezing of his exterior discharge lines. Lastly we installed LawnScape Outlet which is an extension to the underground drainage lines that allows downspout water to escape.
Ron was happy to get these waterproofing systems installed so he doesn’t have to worry about water leaks ruining his stuff!
A couple from Grandville, Michigan, were looking for a solution to their annoying water leak. The couple contacted Ayers about a specific place in their basement where water would leak whenever it rained. The team at Ayers determined the FlexiSpan system would be the perfect option after conducting an inspection!
The FlexiSpan process begins with filling the cracks with a unique adhesive in preparation for another layer. Once the gap in the wall was sealed, A larger portion of FlexiSpan was applied to ensure no water would leak into the house anymore! The couple was thrilled they would no longer need to clean up water in their basement!
Dawn inherited her family home in Grandville, MI, and wanted to address musty odors, cold floors, and allergens from two crawl spaces. Ayers encapsulated both spaces with CleanSpace®, added drainage matting, and installed rim joist insulation. Now, Dawn enjoys a cleaner, warmer, and more comfortable home.
After recently purchasing a house in Byron Center, MI, this homeowner was eager to get started on home improvements. The basement didn’t need too much work, as it was just finished. But the owner was interested in changing up the natural light of the basement. The block window just didn’t fit the look he was going for in the basement. We knew exactly what he meant and sent out a system design specialist to draw out a plan for a replacement egress window. After going over the possible options, the owner elected to add in an egress window just a few feet away from the rectangular block window, as you can see when comparing the two photos. The big difference between the two is that the 4-foot-tall egress window is below ground level. And thanks to the waterproof material of the well, the window will remain protected from floods or eroding, while allowing in more light than the previous.
Patrick had water was coming into his finished basement but never had water issues previously. He put a shop vac in the corner where the water was comign in & it was pulling out about 20 gal of water/day. He needed a fix fast and one that would leave his basement dry. We installed the WaterGuard system for a waterproof solution and piece of mind. The WaterGuard is a French drain system that is installed below the floor but above the foundation so that it won't clog. This system collects water that seeps into the basement and drains it to the sump pump.
