Vent covers come in 3 colors, black, gray and red brick to match the foundation of your home. Vents in a crawl space usually do more harm than good. Vents allow in water, moisture, bugs, dirt and everything else you don't want in your home. These vent covers permanantly seal your vents closed so you don't have to worry about any of these problems again.
This lake cottage in Portage, MI was converted in a year-round home for the homeowners. The home had a basement and two crawl spaces that weren’t that usable because of the piles of dirt in the spaces. The homeowner sought a solution to cleaning up the appearance of these areas, upgrading the current traps that covered the dirt in some areas.
We provided that solution with CleanSpace. This liner is installed to the walls with fasteners and covers the dirt floor. It’s made of cord reinforced polyester, making it extremely durable, so the space can be used for the storage. It also provides a moisture barrier, keeping moisture from the dirt from evaporating i to the space.
Thanks to CleanSpace, this crawl space in the photo is brighter and cleaner, and can be used for storage, too.
A musty smell was coming from a homeowner’s crawl space, so she called our team. We insulated her rim joists to prevent air from entering the rest of her home. Small cracks and seams can exist around rim joists, but after insulating them all of those cracks are sealed off. Now flow is restricted keeping moisture and air out. Therefore, musty smells won't be drifting around this homeowner's house any longer.
Robert contacted our team because his driveway and sidewalk were settling. We installed PolyLevel, a waterproof and long-lasting system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk. It uses a polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. It is a simple process and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes.
The homeowners had water coming into their basement and they were not sure how or where it was coming from. Something like this has never happened so they needed to get the water out right away.
Our professional team installed a sump pump for the owner, but knew they needed something else to ensure that the home would not get water in it anymore. For added protection the team installed the IceGuard anti freeze system. The IceGuard system attaches to the sump pump discharge line on the outside of the home. The system works by allowing the water to escape even if the pipe freezes or gets blocked for any reason. Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing your sump pump to keep your basement dry. When the discharge pipe thaws, the water will automatically run along its normal route, and no water will escape from the IceGuard.
To ensure professional installation and superior service we carefully created an international network of over 350 trusted basement contractors.
