Gene added an addition to the home and there is a basement/crawl space under the new master bedroom. One of the walls leaks water into the area during rainy seasons and heavy rain. We installed the WaterGuard to keep the water out of the house. The WaterGuard is a French drain system that is installed under the floor but atop of the foundation so it won't clog. The water collected gets drained to the sump pump which then gets drained outside the home. The system installs quickly and has a clean finish!

Gene just recently added an addition to her home that has a separate basement area than the rest of the home. This area gets water in it during Michigan's wet seasons and then during heavy rain as well. The water enters where the floor and wall meet so it doesn't flow towards the sump pump that they already have. We installed the WaterGuard system to help with the water issue in her home. The collected water is sent to the sump pump to be discharged outside the home.

Casey and her family want to give an upgrade to the basement in their home by creating a living area as well as some extra bedrooms. Due to having rooms downstairs, she wanted to make sure that the area was safe so she called us about Egress windows and wells. We came and installed 2 Egress windows and wells to the basement. The windows are large enough to allow safe exit out of the space in case of an emergency and allow more natural light into the area. The wells The well that is around the window is made up of one piece so that it will not collapse from backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. The wells are also engineered for safety because there ladders or sturdy steps attached to make it easy to get out!

This crawl space had suffered some minor termite damage in the past and signs of some moisture in the crawl space were evident. We were able to help remedy the issues under this home by sistering some joists to ensure the strength of the structure. We also encapsulated the crawl space using our durable CleanSpace material. This material covers the ground and is carried up the walls and around piers to create an effective moisture barrier. We also installed SilverGlo insulation on the wall to reflect heat back into the crawl space during the cold months and increase energy efficiency. Lastly, we spray foamed the rim joists which are a common entry point for humid air. This helps to create a cleaner, dryer, brighter, and healthier space under the home. 

Lucas from Grass Lake, MI was having water issues in his basement. His sump pump had been running full time the entire fall, and water was beginning to seep through the floor around where the sump pump was.
