They were getting water leaking in from multiple places. They had an existing sump pump that wasn’t doing much. We were able to waterproof everything and give them a new sump pump system. We used WaterGuard TM because they had a nontraditional footing, a MPS lateral line, a Triple-safe sump system and full cleanspace. They want to be confident the basement stays dry.

These homeowners were renovating a new-to-them home and they wanted to ensure that the home was dry when they were ready to sell it down the line, as well as for the time in which they were living there. They knew that there were already water problems, so they wanted to get it solved as quickly as possible.

We sent System Design Specialist Daryn Britton to inspect the home's basement to determine what was causing water problems as well as design a solution that would prevent water from getting into the basement. Daryn found that water was coming in through the wall and that their sump pump had failed, meaning that nothing was solving the water problem. The homeowners wanted this problem fixed quickly, so they asked Daryn to fix the problem in the next week. Daryn called out one of our installation teams, and they got straight to work on installing a full perimeter WaterGuard Interior Drainage System alongside a full height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to fully waterproof the basement. After that, the installation team installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System to get water up and away from the basement as well as a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to help prevent any humidity or moisture from building up.

These homeowners want a dry basement, all of the time. They're tired of dealing with water issues that are coming from foundation joints and from the wall. These homeowners have been living in their home since it was built. After doing some plumbing work, they noticed they were having a moisture problem. They knew they would need to get to the root of the problem, so they called Thrasher. System Design Specialist, Jeremey Scott, came out to meet with them. Jeremey surveyed the area and found the crawlspace was not sealed and the moisture that seeped in caused a humid environment. Together, the homeowners and Jeremey, decided on a drain line, TripleSafe Sump Pump, Sedona, and full encapsulation. With all of these products installed, it would ensure the level of the humidity in the crawlspace would stay low, and they would not have to worry about mold growth! Just like a vehicle, routine maintenance of your sump pump will help ensure that it continues to function properly for years and years. In this instance, the homeowner had never serviced their waterproofing system after installation, and eventually the pump failed when they needed it most. Iron ochre deposits due to water quality in the area had built up and compromised the pump, which we cleaned during our inspection and repair visit. A little precaution goes a long way!
