Melissa, (a native of Queen, NY) joined the Cowleys services family in October 2024 and her impeccable work ethic, can-do attitude, and addicting smile has been a valued assist to the team! 

Melissa will be the first contact that a prospective customer has with Cowleys. She happily takes on a wide variety of responsibilities throughout the day, such as scheduling service appointments, explaining Cowleys various services to prospective customers, sales, and answering service inquiries.  

When not helping potential customers resolve their pest or wildlife issues, Melissa is addicted to working out. She especially loves all types of outdoor sports and activities, but by far, her favorite activity is spending time with her two children!

Cicada killers are large wasps, approximately 2 inches in size, and get their name from killing cicadas in order to reproduce their larvae. They may look deadly and dangerous, but in reality, they aren't aggressive and rarely sting unless they are grasped roughly, stepped upon with bare feet, or caught in clothing.
After cleaning up the mess they made, we began to exclude the area to prevent any future intrusions from the foxes.
That's a ton of bed bugs throughout this mattress.
We located a rat burrow here...
As you can see, there was extensive termite damage to a number of the wooden beams in the basement.
As a result, the ridge vents are properly excluded from bats, birds, and other nuisance wildlife!
This custom-built home was constructed without a soffit and had a wide opening going around the entire perimeter of the home. This lead to both squirrels and bats taking advantage and infesting the home.
This will prevent any future issues with squirrels, and other nuisance wildlife, from getting into the property through this area.
