This crawl space needed support and encapsulation. We used our products SmartJacks, CleanSpace, and SilverGlo to achieve the desired solution. The above photo shows the before and after look of the SmartJacks installation.

The customer had water seepage in her basement from time to time, but after a particularly heavy rain, she suddenly had two inches of water in her basement. She was concerned as mold started to grow up the walls from the floor. She called Healthy Basement Systems for an estimate, and Systems Designer, Andrew Bouchard, developed the perfect system to waterproof the basement and keep it dry. 

We first installed WaterGuard around the entire outer perimeter of the basement floor, with two WaterGuard Ports strategically placed so the homeowner can check to ensure water is still flowing freely. We then installed trench drains in smaller spaces within the basement and a SuperSump pump to drain all water An IceGuard and a LawnScape will direct that water away from the house in any kind of weather conditions.

Finally, we covered the walls with our beautiful CleanSpace vapor barrier, which helps control high humidity, provides a bit more insulation on the walls, and most important, prevents future growth of mold and mildew.

The client is delighted with the results! She was especially happy with our Written Guarantee, which guarantees our products for the life of the home, and transfers to a new owner when the home is sold.
