Even a small lift can create a level floor, close cracks, and help prevent water from seeping into unwanted areas. This garage floor in Newburgh is now perfectly level and will be a safe place to store the couple's sportscar!

This homeowner called us out originally to review their Midcentury home. The reason why they called us was that they had large cracks that ran throughout their floor, which ran approximately six feet throughout their basement floor. Because of these cracks they believe that they had an issue with dampness.

Upon our Specialist inspecting their basement we realized that cracks in their floor were allowing water and water vapor into their basement, as well as that their foundation had sunken approximately six inches.

To fix the problem we strategically drilled 5/8th pilot holes throughout the basement. Once we had drilled all our holes we started to fill the voids below their slab with PolyLevel. By doing this we could lift, level, and stabilize their foundation. Next, to remediate the water and water vapor issue we epoxyed and sealed the cracks on the floor. By doing this, we are able to make sure that nothing escapes into the basement and the home is comfortable year-round. 

Since completing this project, their home has been free of water and water vapor. They could not be any more pleased with how their project turned out. More importantly than anything, peace of mind has been restored.

To get the surface ready, we first ground the entire floor down to a perfectly smooth, even profile. Once the grinding was complete, we cleaned every bit of dust and debris to ensure a flawless bond.

From there, we applied our polyaspartic base layer the foundation of a durable, long‑lasting epoxy system. After polishing and correcting any tiny imperfections, we sealed the pinholes so the final finish would sit beautifully on top.

Then came the artistry: we mixed our colors and created a custom swirl pattern that brought depth, movement, and personality to the entire space.

The transformation was dramatic. The homeowners couldn’t be happier with how the floor turned out. What was once a dangerous, unattractive area is now a safe, stunning, fully usable space they’re proud to spend time in.
