But after mold was discovered in the space, he knew he needed to do something to prevent the problem from returning or becoming worse. Our Team went in and encapsulated the whole space using products from the CleanSpace® Crawl Space System. First, they laid down CleanSpace Crawl Space Drainage Matting System, which is a dimpled mat designed to prevent water from building up underneath and to allow it to flow to a perimeter drain. After the CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier was installed, it is a bright white, thick, and durable liner that covers the floor and walls of the space, keeping water and moisture out. Plus, the inorganic material of the liner includes UltraFresh™. This material is an anti-mold additive, meaning mold will never grow on the liner.
