I am writing in regard to System Design Specialist Nick Biris from Quality 1st Basement Systems. I recently had a basement system installed in my home as well as a crawlspace encapsulation. For both of these projects, Nick was our main contact with the company. From our initial contact and telephone conversation with Nick, he was friendly and eager to help. He promptly scheduled an in home visit and assessment of my property. Upon his arrival, Nick began a very thorough examination of the property and throughout the assessment he maintained an open and fluid dialog with my wife and I explaining his findings. It quickly became clear that Nick was very knowledgeable in the field of basement/crawlspace waterproofing. In addition to his knowledge, Nick spoke to us on a level we could understand by explaining any industry terms used.  After the physical assessment, Nick provided us with an impressive presentation which both explained the company itself as well as the options offered in order to waterproof our home. It was explained to Nick that we had just purchased our home and this was an unexpected cost. My wife and I felt that Nick genuinely took that into consideration by prioritizing and personalizing our needs. We did not feel as though he was a salesman but rather invested in the solution of the water issues we were experiencing.  Even after the sale was made, Nick remained in contact with us throughout the process, keeping us abreast of the scheduling and any further steps to follow. Any calls or emails were promptly answered and no question seemed too small or insignificant. Nick also addressed an alleviated any issues we had during the installation process.  Nick has a nice personal touch and makes you feel like you have known him for a long time even when you are just meeting him for the first time. His vast knowledge also helps to put you at ease when dealing with such an extensive project to your home. These qualities made us feel as if we were dealing with a small business or more of a “mom and pop” operation rather than such large company. Nick was also very friendly with our two year old daughter and he was understanding and patient since she was present during the estimate.  In conclusion, we were extremely pleased with our dealings with Nick Biris and would recommend him with confidence and great pleasure to anyone in need of the services of Quality 1st Basement System.

After any heavy rains, one side of my home used to get water seepage thru the walls and onto the floor. After having the sump pump and french drain systems installed I am confident that the basement will no longer leak. I first heard about Quality 1st on Angie's List and was impressed by the number of positive reviews on their Angie's List account. When initially calling the office staff for an appointment they were very responsive and were able to answer all of my questions and concerns. My inspector Kenny was very professional and came across like a waterproofing expert and offered affordable solutions for my problem. The installation team installed everything in one day and were overall very courteous and efficient.

OMG!!! I was referred by a friend about the company who had a draining system put in so I called to make an appointment. I was very impressed with Jessica who told me everything I needed to know about my basement. She was very informative so I decided to get the dehumidifier. It was installed on 10/30. Prior to having the system, my basement smelled really bad when i tell you it was horrid.  Just on 10/9/ I went in my basement and I was so amazed at how good the basement now smells. My heating contractor was there as well and I was telling him that this system is the best. I'm so glad that I made this investment. It is the best thing I have, I was telling my heating contractor, who also was impressed. I told him this all happened in within two week time. When initially contacting Quality 1st Basement Systems I was very impressed with the professionalism of the company. I really liked the confirmation package that was sent in the mail prior to my meeting with the design specialist. It helped me understand your products more in detail and prepare my questions and comments for the inspector. Everyone I dealt with at the company was very pleasant. Especially the installation crew lead by Victor Leon, they did a very nice job. My basement is now dry and I have no more cracks!   Recommended by Serv-Pro & I liked getting the information prior to meeting the design specialist so I could understand what you have available & could make a list of questions. Your company had done work before which was very nicely done.

I feel as though my experience with Quality 1st was very professional from start to finish. The office staff was very helpful and ready to address my issues and concerns. The installation team was quick, effiecient and professional. I initially found this company with a quick internet search and was very pleased with Nick's well laid out presentation. I moved into my home with a damp basement, and no longer have to worry about any water, or dampness. 

I am very satisfied with the work completed by Quality 1st in my basement and crawlspace. Nick and the installation team did a good job explaining all products and making it all a clean process. I chose to go with Quality 1st because they had a all-in-one solution for both my basement and crawlspace. The work was finished in one day, unlike other companies with Quality 1st I only requested one day off of work, not 3!

He came out to Brooklyn, walked me through their products, our options and the process, and made certain I understood how everything worked, why it worked, what was essential and what was not. I never felt pressured like other companies had made me feel. After the initial meeting, he made sure I know I could contact him with questions at anytime, which I did.�  I think I e-mailed or called about 4 times before we gave our deposit and all my questions and concerns were dealt with in a timely, professional manner were a departure from what I had previosly encountered in my to solve the problem in our basement.�  I had concerns with several aspects of the installations, all of which he researched and responded to.�  After the installation, he remained in contact.�  If all contractors were this accessible, I would be thrilled.

I very satisfied with my inspector Nick and the overall service and job completed by Quality 1st Basement Systems. My inspector was helpful, informative, honest and thorough. I first heard about Quality 1st online and was pleased with their professionalism and level of experience. I met with Jack the Field Supervisor as well as the installation crew led by Jesus on site, they walked me through everything, they were clean and finished the job quick!
