This crawl space was encapsulated with our 6 mil Poly before sealing the poly by spray foaming over it and the walls with our closed cell spray foam.

This homeowner had a couple of different crawl spaces beneath the house, but even the smallest crawl spaces can make the room or rooms above it cold and uncomfortable. Basements and crawl spaces tend to have a lot of dampness and moisture, and we can help alleviate those issues.

For this job, we installed our 6 mil poly encapsulation - a large moisture barrier. We then created a seal by using our closed cell spray foam to seal the sides of the poly to the walls. The closed cell spray foam also provides it's own thermal barrier in helping keep the extreme cold and heat out in the respective seasons, and makes for a much more comfortable living space above.
