A damp crawl space resulted in wood rot in the floor joists and bouncy floors above. In order to ensure permanent stabilization and lift, we installed SmartJack Support Posts.

Anthony contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair concerned about sagging floors in his home in Latta, SC. Anthony's sagging floors where caused by weakened floor joists and girders. The weakened floor joist and girders where an effect of the crawl space of the home being unsealed and exposed to high moisture levels and humidity. We were able to help Anthony by installing the SmartJack Stabilizing System. The SmartJack System is engineered to stabilize and level the girders and floor joist in the crawl space. Anthony is thrilled with the results that Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair did to level the floors of his home.

Using SmartJack Support Posts and a supplemental steel beam, the crew eliminated the threat of floor failure caused by high moisture and wood rot. 

The SmartJack adjustable steel support posts are designed to be placed under sagging beams, providing supplemental support and preventing them from further sagging. This can help improve the structural integrity of the crawl space and ensure that the floor is properly level.

This customer's foundation sank due to soil settlement. We installed foundation push piers around the foundation to transfer the weight of the structure to more solid ground and stabilize it permanently.
