A homeowner in Wilmington, NC, reached out with concerns about their sinking concrete sidewalk, which had become uneven and created a tripping hazard. The sinking was caused by soil erosion and settling beneath the slab. We used our PolyLevel system to address the issue. PolyLevel is a high-density foam injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it. After the injection, the sidewalk was leveled, eliminating the hazard and restoring a safe, even surface.

Soil erosion left voids under this concrete slab that led to it become uneven with large cracks. Our team used our PolyLevel System to fill the voids under the slab and lift it back to level. Once level, NexusPro was used to fill and seal the cracks to prevent moisture from leaking into the them.
