This homeowner's once dry, finished basement began to leak. To ensure this basement remain dry all the time, we installed our WaterGuard Interior Drainage System paired with a TripleSafe Sump Pump.

Efflorescence on the wall of this basement indicated water seepage. We ran our patented interior waterproofing system and vapor barrier to keep the basement dry and the protect the air from moisture as well.

As part of this basement waterproofing project in Greensboro, NC, our team installed a dedicated exterior drainage line to safely carry water away from the home’s foundation. The discharge line was carefully trenched and extended away from the property, directing water to a properly placed outlet to prevent pooling near the structure.

To ensure year-round protection, we also installed an IceGuard system. This specialized fitting allows water to escape even if the discharge line freezes during cold temperatures helping prevent backups and keeping the sump pump system running when it’s needed most.

With proper drainage and freeze protection in place, this home now has a reliable solution designed to keep the basement dry in every season.

The IceGuard System was installed to ensure water can always escape from the discharge line. In the event the sump pump line gets blocked or is frozen, water has a way to escape to prevent water backup and flooding the basement. 

Taking care of moisture in the air that comes from the ground and the nasty debris within this crawl space by removing the trash and encapsulating it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier provides this home with a needed increase in protection from mold growth and an increase in air quality.
