SmartJack supports and steel supplemental beams are installed into this crawlspace  to permanently lift and stabilize the sinking foundation underneath the front porch. 

One consequence from having a lot of water seepage is the increased risk of bowing walls. These crawl space walls were experiencing just that. We installed out steel beam PowerBraces to stabilize and hold the wall in place.

This beautiful mountain home in Banner Elk, NC was experiencing settlement beneath its large stone fireplace and chimney a common issue when heavy structures sit on weak or poorly compacted soil. Our team uncovered the failing areas and installed durable helical piers beneath the foundation to permanently stabilize and support the weight of the chimney.

These photos show the excavation around the base, the installation of the pier brackets, and the home’s exterior where the chimney was beginning to shift. With the new helical piers in place, the fireplace is now fully supported, protected from future settlement, and secured for the long term.
