To stabilize this customers bowed and cracked wall, we installed our GeoLock Channel System. GeoLock Channel Anchors work by stabilizing and straightening bowing or cracked walls. They are installed with anchors placed in the soil outside the foundation wall and connected to steel channels inside the basement. This system counteracts the pressure exerted on the wall, preventing further movement and potentially straightening the wall over time.
This Madison, NC home was experiencing foundation settlement caused by unstable soil conditions around the front porch and foundation footing. Over time, poor soil support and excess moisture can lead to sinking, uneven structures, cracked brickwork, and gaps around the home’s exterior all warning signs that the foundation is no longer being properly supported.
To permanently address these issues, our team installed helical piers, a proven foundation repair solution designed to stabilize and lift settling foundations. These steel piers are mechanically driven deep into load-bearing soil, bypassing weak surface soils and transferring the weight of the home to stable ground below. Once installed, the piers provide immediate structural support and long-term protection against further settlement.
While not the most pressing issue to this pool deck, the pool house was in definite need of repair. The rusty and makeshift truss along the top was concerning to the structural integrity. We re-worked it and installed a new steel I-beam to keep the roof up.
The main floor of this home started to sink and sag. We installed our SmartJacks under the home to stop the sagging and push the floor back into place.
This High Point homeowner noticed signs of foundation settlement along the corner of their home, including visible cracks and uneven separation near the siding and brick. Over time, shifting soils beneath the foundation caused sections of the structure to sink, putting stress on the home’s exterior and interior framing.
Our team installed helical piers to provide deep, stable support for the affected area. The first photo shows the excavation and installation process, where the pier bracket is securely attached to the foundation footing. These piers are driven deep into load-bearing soil, transferring the home’s weight to a more stable layer underground.
Once installed, the helical piers not only stabilized the structure but also allowed for precise lifting to help close cracks and restore the foundation’s integrity. This permanent solution ensures lasting stability, protecting the home from future settling and structural damage.
