In Elon, NC, we responded to a call from a 91-year-old homeowner who was experiencing persistent coughing and sneezing due to dust entering the living space from the crawl space. The exposed soil, torn vapor barrier, and years of buildup were contributing to poor air quality throughout the home. Concerned for her health, the homeowner requested a long-term solution to create a cleaner, healthier environment.

To address the issue, our team performed a full crawl space encapsulation, sealing the area with a durable vapor barrier to prevent moisture, allergens, and dust from rising into the home. As a key part of the solution, we installed the SaniDry Sedona, a powerful, energy-efficient dehumidifier designed specifically for crawl spaces. This system controls humidity levels, filters the air, and helps eliminate conditions that lead to mold and respiratory irritation.

Our ultra-durable CleanSpace vapor barrier was used to seal, cover, and protect the remaining exposed areas of the crawl space from any moisture or humidity.
