Crawl Space Encapsulation in Jamestown, Ohio

The owner of this crawl space in Jamestown, OH, wanted it encapsulated after a friend told them that their house smelled funny. The homeowner had grown so accustomed to musty smells emitting from their crawl space that they hadn't even realized the smell wasn't normal. The homeowner then checked the crawl space themselves, and they noticed that there were large pools of water gathering on the floor. The homeowner then gave us a call to repair their wet smelling crawl space with an encapsulation system after they did some research online. We first waterproofed the crawl space with drainage tile and a sump pump system. We then insulated the walls with our SilverGlo insulation panels, which reflect heat back into the space. Next, we sealed the crawl space by wrapping our white CleanSpace vapor barrier all across the floor and up the walls. Lastly, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the sealed air conditioned. The homeowner immediately noticed that their home smelled and felt fresher after we installed the encapsulation system.

Crawl Space Repair Company in New Vienna, Ohio

This shallow crawl space in New Vienna, OH, needed some protection against moisture and settling concrete columns. We first repaired the sagging columns by jacking the main beams with our SmartJack crawl space posts and straightening the joists out. We then fixed the musty smells by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier, wrapping it over the entire floor and up the walls and columns. This home now smells clean and has straight floors, which the homeowners were very appreciative of.

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Sabina, OH

This home had a crawl space with poured concrete walls that were leaking water. It turned into one of our larger projects as we installed WaterGuard drainage, CleanSpace liner, a SuperSump system, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. To finish, we treated the area with Anabec cleaner and added spray foam insulation to address mold and improve energy efficiency. Now the crawl space is dry, clean, and protected for the long haul.

Crawl Space Repair in Sabina, OH

This dusty crawl space in Sabina, OH, had high humidity levels throughout most of the year. We encapsulated the space for the homeowner to remove musty smells, reduce dust, decrease the cost of energy bills, and help protect the wooden framing from moisture. Before we wrapped the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, we had to first waterproof the space to help protect the vapor barrier from flooding. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is made of an antimicrobial material, similar to a pool liner. It is very durable, and it will help keep the home feeling fresh.

Crawl Space Moisture Barrier Installation in Peebles, Ohio

This crawl space had gravel all along the floor, which is better than dirt, but still not good enough to skip a moisture barrier. We installed CleanSpace liner across the whole crawl space to keep moisture out, saving the wooden beams from rot. The liner also keeps moldy air out and helps insulate a bit.
