This basement in West Chester, OH, had a failing exterior waterproofing system. The footer drains that were placed in the soil when the home was first built had clogged in spots, and the sump pump was struggling to properly manage the water. As we see with a lot of exterior waterproofing systems, the footer drains do a poor job at keeping soil out of the system, and when the soil reaches the sump pump, the sump pump fails to run efficiently, causing the sump pump to run when it shouldn't and quickly deteriorate. Both of these problems allowed water to enter throughout the coves in the basement and up through the sump pump itself. We replaced their existing system with our patented interior system including our WaterGuard subfloor drains and our SuperSump sump pump. Our interior drains sit directly on top of the footing and are installed from the inside, ensuring soil and dirt stays out of the system. The homeowner was happy with the upgrade. 

Seen in the before picture are some slight water stains on the concrete walls in this Liberty Township basement. In the after picture you can see the TripleSafe sump pump attached with an UltraSump 4 battery back, as well as fresh concrete floated over the subfloor WaterGuard drains. The owners of this basement needed a new waterproofing system because their basement had leaked three times in the past seven years. Their plumber said their existing waterproofing system was the problem, and they were right. Fed up with their leaks, The homeowners decided to give us a call so we could fix their problems for good. We replaced their existing system with all new products like our WaterGuard subfloor drains, our TripleSafe sump pump, and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. After we waterproofed, we then got to the fun part. We installed our EverLast drywall repair panels so that they could replace the bottom halves of their musty walls. The great thing about our EverLast system is that the panels can get wet and they won't grow mold or must! These walls will also help channel moisture to the drainage system under the floor. This home in Alexandria, KY relied on an old sump pump connected to an exterior foundation drain system. While exterior systems are common in older homes, they often clog over time and are difficult to service since repairs require digging up the yard and foundation. We replaced the outdated setup with our TripleSafe sump pump, tied directly into our WaterGuard interior perimeter system. Unlike exterior drains, this interior system is serviceable, reliable, and built to keep the basement dry year-round. 

This basement wall was cracked, bowing, and allowing water to leak through during heavy rains. The moisture and movement were only getting worse, and the homeowners knew it was time to act before the damage got more severe. We stabilized the wall using CarbonArmor straps and addressed the water intrusion with a full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system (concealed below the floor). We also installed a SuperSump Plus pump system and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the space dry and protected long-term.
