Bob has a house in Burlington with the original concrete sump system. The problem with this old style concrete sump pits is that the concrete liner doesn't let water from under the floor get into the sump pit and it is open to emit moisture into the air. 
Omni basement Systems istalled the SuperSump sump system. This system features the incredible Zoeller pump as well as an airtight lid, airtight floor drain and a high water watch alarm. The system looks great and the moisture in the air will be reduced.
