Jacob started working at the young age of fourteen, he worked for a local contractor digging out crawlspaces. In 2011, he was introduced to the unique and innovative products offered by John's Waterproofing and he joined the team on an installation crew. As his knowledge and extensive understanding of our products grew, he quickly worked his way up to being an inspector.

As a System design Specialist, Jacob brings a professional, focused, and intelligent approach to each job he is involved with, his goal is to create the proper system to combat a homes water issues the first time around. Jacob has been thoroughly trained and has earned the highly esteemed title "Certified Waterproofing Professional", through the Basement Systems International Waterproofing Contractor Network.

Jacob's attention to detail and understanding of how the systems function gives him a unique edge to create perfectly designed systems. In his years in the industry, he has seen it all and has the pictures to prove it. Jacob is looked to within our office for questions related to challenging crawlspace situations and he is always willing to help his co-workers or answer questions for customers.

In his spare time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his two young kids and wife on their fifty acre farm in Lacomb. Getting to watch his kids grow up surrounded by nature is exciting and gratifying. His wife runs and operates a horse boarding stable on their property where they care for their purebred Canadian horses. They have also dedicated twenty of their acres to creating a Hazelnut Orchard, Fruit Orchard, and native flora restoration project.

I'm very, very happy that the underside of our house doesn't stink any more, and now feel pretty good about the condition of our home during the rainy season. I also like the added protection of the sump pump alarm to detect plumbing leaks on top of the cleanspace liner. I can't believe that someone would chose NOT to have a clean crawlspace! I'm pretty proud of our crawlspace, and can't help but notice how awesome it is now when I go down there.

If everyone gave the service your company did, on ALL levels, people would WISH for basement and drainage problems just so they could hire you and want their $ to support your business. Jake presented a good plan, which avoided problems that certainly would have occurred with the plan presented by your competition. I took careful notice of the reviews on Angie's List, and call some of the references, which were supportive. Finally, I chose Johns as a company that had been in business for some time and had extensive experience installing the basement waterproofing system. The guarantee was an extremely important factor in my decision, and John's track record suggests that it will remain in business and stand by the guarantee should problems occur. This was the best part of the project. Delfino and his crew (Francisco, Aaron, Ceasar) worked incredibly hard, were polite and considerate, and provided what appears to be a good installation. I give them my strongest recommendation. How they managed to hand carry 6 yards of broken concrete up out of that basement in the time they did is beyond me. John's employees spoke highly of the company, and the benefits offered. It sounds like a well run business. Please note that the system was installed in Central Oregon at our second home on the Deschutes River, where we are dealing with a high water table issue in summer. As of this writing, the water table is nearing its summer level, the sump pumps are working, and the basement/crawl space is dry.
