Michael Hitch joined John's Waterproofing as a service technician. His hard work and desire to learn more have made him a great addition to the team. He enjoys the friendly work environment and his coworkers that have become friends over the years. His hard work has helped him earn our Service Technician of the year award after only being here for two years. He than moved to being one of our Radon Measurement Professional. This entailed extensive Radon training in both radon testing and mitigation. Within this position he exemplified an amazing ability to establish interpersonal relationships with the customers he would work with. Because of his friendly nature, he has now advanced to become a part of our real estate response team. In this position he works hand in hand with realtors, inspectors, and individuals in the realty industry to ensure that when a home is sold it is cared for and ready for the new homeowner. He is proud to bring healthy homes across the PNW.

Customers say that Michael is personable, outgoing, and easy to work with. He will tell you he loves his job and that its very rewarding to create healthy living environments for our customers and their families. Outside of work he loves spending time with his friends and family. Some of his interests include traveling, cooking, and spending time at the lake.

The deign Specialist did a very good job explaining the proposed solution and was very knowledgeable and thorough in his inspection of the house and issue. He took the time to understand our concerns and then developed a good solution to the issue that I had confidence in. The company seemed to have the knowledge, expertise and experience to resolve our sump pump/drainage issues. All of the people at the company that I interfaced with seem to feel good about the company and it shows in their attitude and work ethic. The crew was excellent. They worked extremely hard. The work required digging trenches and laying pipe and they did a great job covering the trenches and returning the ground to as close to the way it was prior to the work. The crew was courteous and friendly. They pointed out something in the original design that was not optimal and were able to correct it so that the system will work properly. The first rains will prove that everything is working correctly but I am happy with the work and confident if there were any issues that the company would make it correct.

Johns Waterproofing did a fantastic job of cleaning up my crawl space, from the presentation to the final touches. Everyone at Johns Waterproofing wants to see your issues resolved, and when they’re done, they want you to be happy with what they did. They are willing to guarantee their work, and when you accept all of their recommendations, your project may qualify for a transferable warrantee as well. We had a spring under our guest room, and our original builder didn’t adequately provide for that. The work he did was deteriorating at a rapid rate, until one day we were forced to confront the issue again. Not only did they remove all of our original builders “make-shift, work around” debris, but they actually, permanently fixed the issue to a point where they were willing to warrantee the project “forever”, allowing us to transfer their warrantee to any new owner, should we ever decide to sell our house. I accepted all of their recommendations, and not only did they resolve all of our crawl space issues, our electric and gas bills have been significantly reduced as a result of the things they did in my new, clean space. We couldn’t be happier with Johns Waterproofing, and their crews. Each and every member of Johns Waterproofing we came in contact with was very hard working, personable, and professional. We had two crews working in our crawl space and every single person was concerned about how they protected our house above the crawl space as well. They put plastic sheeting up on all the walls and floors, and cleaned up every day before they left. I can’t say enough good things about the work force at Johns Waterproofing. I was impressed with everyone. Would I recommend them to my friends and family? You bet I would, and that recommendation would come with my highest rating as well. I hope this helps you decide to choose Johns Waterproofing for your basement or crawl space issues. I really believe, you’ll be as happy as I was with our completed project. They did a great job for us, and from what've I read in previous reviews, my results weren’t an accident. These guys know what they’re doing. Jim
