Cracked Foundation Wall in Cornwall, Ontario
This client contacted us initially to fix his humidity problem in his crawlspace, but while we were there, we noticed that there was a very large crack in the foundation wall of the crawl space. We fixed this issue by installing the PowerBrace system. It consists of zinc coated beams and components. PowerBraces utilize a joist reinforcement that distributes the load evenly. The crawl space is now stable and sealed.

Insulation of crawl space discovered in Godmanchester, Qc
PROBLEM Mr. Bruno's crawl space was uncovered and created humidity in the rest of the house. The client did not want this to affect his family's health in the long term. SOLUTION Systèmes Sous-sol Québec’s team suggested a solution that guaranteed a dry space all year round. A solution including 3 products; TerraBlock insulation, SmartDrain and CleanSpace encapsulation product. Our TerraBlock insulation provides a puncture-resistant vapor barrier on all surfaces it covers - one that will not be damaged by water or support the growth of mold, rot, and mildew. As for the SmartDrain, it is a floor drain installed at the lowest point of the crawl space to intercept water infiltration caused by plumbing leaks. And finally the CleanSpace will prevent the growth of mold. In addition it is odorless and very safe to use.

Mr. Tessier contacted us for a free evaluation to encapsulate his crawl space. There was already insulation, but it was not made with products designed especially for crawl space. Our specialist Sam went to Saint-Anicet to give this advice and make this submission.
