Cantey crew members replaced the supplemental beams, and sister and rim joists, along with placing SmartJacks under the beams to raise the kitchen floors. SmartJacks were assembled along a 9' supplemental beam under this home for proper stabilization and leveling because as you can see, the stability of this home is scarcely supported by older pieces of wood. SmartJacks are used to raise sagging floors and provide support to areas of the home that may be lacking posts or piers and need reinforcement.
