The Cantey Crew gave these Irmo, SC front steps a face lift.
Dan T. of Cheraw, SC started noticing cracks in the drywall off the corners of the doors in his home. He also found that the doors and windows in his home began to stick when he would try to open them. Dan knew this was a sign of foundation settling, so he called Cantey for a free inspection before the damages became worse. Cantey Production Crew Leader Jonathon Lowder and crew entered his crawlspace and immediately saw that the existing concrete columns were settling and causing the walls to crack and the floors to sink. The crew installed six SmartJacks under the home, which lifted the walls back to the appropriate height and provided a more structural footing to level the floors in Dan’s home. Now, the cracks on his walls are sealed and he can open his doors and windows once again.
Jack of Columbia, SC, noticed the concrete on his porch was sinking and began to look aesthetically unappealing. Jack contacted us for a free estimate and our team talked him through the benefits of using our PolyLevel Solution to raise his sunken concrete. He liked the fact that the solution is environmentally friendly as it does not deteriorate underground and that he would not have to replace or repour any new concrete. After the crew lifted his concrete, he was very pleased. It was installed quickly and caused no interruption in his daily routine as he was able to walk on it shortly after (just 15 minutes!) installation was completed.
Cantey Foundation Specialists Team Members recently restored this wall into it's original position in a Shaw AFB, SC home that had been displaced by yeas of foundation settlement.
Michael B. bought a home a few months ago in Westminster, SC for his family. He recently got a new job in the Upstate and found just the right home for his family. Although the right layout for his small family, Michael knew that the home needed some work. To start there were cracks forming on the outside and he knew that was a sign of foundation issues. He heard about the Greenville Home Show and decided to attend to get some other idea of improvements he could make on the home. It was there that he met a representative from Cantey Foundation Specialists. Michael was really impressed with the company and the level of professionalism they presented. He was set up for an appointment and the next week System Design Specialist Dave Banks arrived. Dave did a thorough inspection of not only the outside of the house but also the crawl space. The foundation did need some work so Dave sat down with Michael to show him the plans he drew up to fix it. Dave explained that holes would be dug around the foundation and a bracket would be installed at the footing of the home. Then piers would be driven into the ground that would push up on that bracket when the reached the more competent soil. This would create lift and close the existing cracks as well as stabilize the entire foundation. Michael was ready to have a stable foundation so he could start moving on other projects and believed in the Push Pier system. Production Crew Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Crew Member Mariano Lopez, and Production Crew Member Jose Lopez came out and effectively installed the Push Pier system. Michael now has a stable foundation and almost has his home ready for his family.
