This Nashville, TN homeowner wanted his home to stay happy and healthy. We installed the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system to do just that! The CleanSpace system will keep the crawlspace dry and free of mold. The customer was left satisfied with the quality of our product and the work that was done!

The crew installed a drainage system along the higher-graded side of the home that directs water to a sump pump at the lowest point of the crawl space. The sump pump discharges water through an IceGuard system. An HSS supplemental beam with SmartJacks was installed to properly support the home.

The crawl space was encapsulated with drainage matting and a 20 mil moisture barrier to prevent ground moisture from entering the space. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to reduce humidity levels.

The family of this Nashville home was worried about high humidity levels and cold floors in the winter. They were hoping to get a crawl space that was healthy and a little more user friendly. The three pumps that make this sump pump are pump 1: a heavy-duty 1/3 horsepower (HP) cast-iron Zoeller pump that does most of the pumping, handling up to 2,600 gallons of water per hour. Pump 2: a 1/2 HP pump that operates automatically if Pump 1 fails or if greater pumping volume is needed (up to 6,200 gallons per hour). Pump 3: a battery-operated pump that turns on automatically if power fails.

Along with the sump pump, the family also wanted our IceGuard product installed to make sure water didn't come back into their home if the weather dropped and their discharge line froze.
