Our team visited a home in Chattanooga, TN that had a dank, moist crawlspace. We got to work encapsulating the area with our mold-resistant, bright CleanSpace vapor barrier system.

Master Services encapsulated the area with a strong vapor barrier to seal the walls and floors to create a dry, clean, and energy-efficient space.

In Chattanooga, TN, our skilled team from Master Services undertook the task of sealing a crawlspace to protect it against mold growth. The client had two young children with severe allergies exacerbated by the poor air quality beneath their home. The crawlspace had been previously encapsulated with subpar materials that were not properly secured, leading to the proliferation of mold spores.

To ensure a dry crawlspace environment, we chose the reliable CleanSpace® Wall system, well-known for its durability and effectiveness. With precision, we securely attached the system to the basement walls using plastic fasteners, ensuring a strong and steadfast connection through careful drilling. This system played a crucial role in maintaining optimal moisture levels within the crawlspace, effectively preventing the growth of mold.

Master Services was called to this Chattanooga home after the homeowner noticed moisture concerns and an outdated vapor barrier in the crawl space. The area had exposed soil, debris, and a failing liner that was no longer protecting the home from humidity or musty odors. Our team installed a full CleanSpace encapsulation system to seal the crawl space from the earth, creating a bright, durable, and moisture controlled environment. We also added two SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers to keep humidity low and the air healthy year round. This transformation gives the homeowner long term protection and a much cleaner, safer foundation space.

To correct these issues, Master Foundation & Crawl Space Repair removed existing debris and installed a heavy-duty CleanSpace vapor barrier across the crawl space floor and up the concrete block foundation walls, creating a continuous sealed liner designed to block ground moisture and reduce vapor intrusion. To actively control humidity and maintain a stable crawl space environment, our team installed two SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers, each with a condensate pump to ensure reliable moisture removal and proper drainage. After installation, the crawl space is fully encapsulated and conditioned, helping regulate humidity levels, protect structural components, and support healthier air throughout the home for long-term performance and durability.
