This customer reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions for help with a serious basement issue—water intrusion combined with unstable floor supports. After sending one of our expert System Designers for a thorough inspection, we created a customized solution that the homeowner felt confident moving forward with.

To combat the water problems, we installed our WaterGuard® Drainage System, CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier, and the ultra-reliable TripleSafe™ Sump Pump—a trio designed to keep the basement dry and protected year-round.

We also addressed the structural concerns by replacing the failing floor supports with our SmartJack® Support System, providing permanent stability and lifting the floors back into place.

With this full-service solution in place, the homeowner now enjoys a dry, secure, and structurally sound basement—and the peace of mind that the problem is truly fixed for good.

The basement of this Crozet home had water seeping in with rain, so the homeowner reached out to Fortress to get this problem solved.

Fortress was able to solve this water intrusion problem by installing our WaterGuard System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a TripleSafe sump pump. These products will continuously work together to keep this basement dry!

This home was a special project for our Fortress Foundation Solutions team.  The family residing in the home had a special need to be free of invasive water because of health concerns.  Our system designer went to this property to give the family recommendations.  He knew how important it was to the family to make sure there was no unwanted moisture coming into the home. Our crew, led by foreman Charlie Evans, went straight to work to remediate the water coming into a portion of the basement. First, they installed DryTrak around the perimeter of the affected room. They connected the DryTrak to our TripleSafe Sump Pump system with a battery backup. This family will never have to worry about flooding in this space, even if the power were to go out!

A homeowner came to Fortress Foundation Solutions in hopes of transforming her basement into a more comfortable space. She had water seeping in at the floor level of her basement block walls and a poor basement drainage system. Although she was already using the space to her advantage, she was tired of working in such poor conditions. The air was moist and humid and the space was simply uncomfortable to be in. Fortress made it so this homeowner could work in a cleaner space. First Fortress installed WaterGuard and BrightWall. These two installations not only protect the basement from water, but also make it so the area is clean and much more user friendly. A pump discharge unit was put to use, along with a SuperSump to remove all unwanted water. Now this basement is clean and comfortable for the homeowner to enjoy.

This home in Appomattox had a bad problem with water coming into the basement through a doorway. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a permanent solution to this problem.

Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install a TrenchDrain at that doorway, and connect it to an existing sump pump.

The TrenchDrain will catch any water seepage and drain it to the sump pump to be pumped out of the home.
