A homeowner in Monterey, Virginia had heavy mold growth and standing water in their crawl space. They called us here at Fortress Foundation Solutions to solve their problem. We got rid of all the mold with Mold X, and then installed a Smart Sump pump to to rid the crawl space of any water that would come in. We also put in a Sani Dry Sedona to control the humidity levels. 

This customer had water, mold and mildew, and falling insulation in their crawlspace. Fortress Foundation Solutions removed the ineffective insulation and mitigated the mold/mildew. We also installed CleanSpace liner with drainage matting, TripleSafe sump pump, Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier, and a new crawl space door. This transformation in crawlspace prevents humidity and musty smells in the home!

 This dirty crawlspace really needed some help. It was dirty and moldy from repeated flooding. Fortress installed a CleanSpace Encapsulation to brighten up the space and keep it clean and dry.

A proud home owner in Buchanan, VA wanted to create a usable area in their crawl space. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions to do just that! System Designer Caleb Stone introduced them to our Crawl Space Encapsulation Process using a Clean Space Vapor Barrier System with Silver Glow Insulation on the walls and a Sani Dry Sedona Dehumidifier. Foreman Charlie Evans and his production crew did a great job installing the system in a timely manner to create a space that is available for them to use comfortably.    

This Thaxton homeowner had problems in both his basement and crawlspace. Both were exceptionally dirty and very moist. The crawlspace had begun to grow mold, so the homeowner decided it was definitely time to do something about his water issues. The homeowner asked if we could come in and fix his water drainage problems and reinsulated his basement and crawlspace in order to leave it clean, mold free, and much more energy efficient. Fortress Foundation Solutions had solutions for all of these proposed problems. First thing that had to be done was the removal of all debris and insulation from the basement and crawlspace. Naturally we removed the debris, but the insulation was also taken out because Fortress planned to install CleanSpace, which is a much better and more efficient way to insulate your crawlspace or basement (or both). CleanSpace was applied to the basement walls and the crawlspace. Drain matting was used in addition to the CleanSpace in the crawlspace to help eliminate the unwanted water that was causing the perfect environment for mold to grow in.
