Before & After Photos

In Norwood, Virginia, we addressed a significant issue with bowing basement walls, as seen in the before photo. The homeowner contacted us to fix these failing walls, recognizing the threat they posed to the foundation's stability. We utilized our CarbonArmor® system, a non-invasive, permanent solution that stabilizes block foundation walls. With carbon fiber-reinforced polymers and ArmorLock brackets, our solution stopped the wall from leaning inward, offering durable protection. The after photo demonstrates the success of our intervention, ensuring the homeowner’s foundation remains secure and intact.

In Covesville, a homeowner faced a significant issue with a bowing basement wall that was at risk of further structural failure, as seen in the before photo. Using the PowerBrace™ System, we permanently stabilized the foundation wall without any invasive procedures. Zinc-plated steel beams were precisely installed from floor to ceiling, securely anchored to protect against further movement. Notice in the after photo, the wall is now stabilized and safeguarded long-term. The homeowner now benefits from a more secure and safe foundation, mitigating previous concerns about wall stability.

This home was built in the late 1980's.  It was experiencing sagging floors which resulted in cracking walls and other internal issues. We totally stabilized and corrected the problem with supplemental support in the form of Smart Jacks in the crawl space. Everything is nice and level now!

This home in Appomattox had stair-stepped cracking in some of the basement walls. The homeowner reached out to Fortess with concerns about the stabilty of their home's foundation.
