This homeowner in Broadway, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions to update their crawl space. This crawl space had black plastic on the ground that was not providing much help to the area. Our System Designer was able to go to this home and provide a free estimate for a permanent solution. The System Designer suggested our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a SaniDry Dehumidifier, and our SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System. 

Our Forman and his crew installed these products for the homeowner. The crew installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. This protects the area from the outside elements. We also installed our SmartSump to take out any water that was making its way into the crawl space. Finally our SaniDry Dehumidifier was installed to absorb any moisture that made its way into the crawl space.   

The crawl space of this home in Broadway was wet and musty, and needed some help!

Our System Designer went out to assess this crawl space and recommended installing a complete CleanSpace Encapsulation, along with a SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. These products will work together to keep all water and moisture out of the crawl space, and keep that area dry!

This home had a small crawlspace which would have standing water when it rained heavily. We completed a full Crawlspace encapsulation with a Sedona dehumidifier and Mold X to remove mold that has been growing on the joists. 

The Arbogast family in Broadway, Virginia had a crawl space that was holding onto a lot of moisture. As you can see in the before photo, the damp conditions were already starting to raise concerns about mold, wood rot, and overall air quality in the home.

To fix it, we went with a full encapsulation approach. We installed CleanSpace to seal off the crawl space and block out moisture, along with SilverGlo insulation to help regulate temperature and improve energy efficiency. To keep humidity under control, we added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.

Now the space is dry, sealed, and much healthier, helping protect the home from moisture-related issues moving forward.
