Manassas Virginia Crawl Space Transformation

We removed the old insulation, dirty plastic covering the dirt floors and moisture from the air.  This crawl space is now clean and dry with no musty smells or excessive moisture in the air.

Chantilly VA Crawl Space Repair and Sump Pump

This Chantilly VA home had an excessive amount of unwanted water collecting in the crawl space.  The dirt floors were often muddy and due the moisture in the air, there was mildew all around the crawl space and a musty smell.  The musty smell and air from the crawl space was able to impact the quality of air in the home above.  Our Basement and Crawl Space Expert Eric was able to design a plan to contain the unwanted water, direct it to a newly installed sump pump and have it discharged far out into the yard.  With Clean Space covering the floors and walls, it will not keep the crawl space dry and with no musty smell.

Chantilly VA Crawl Space Project

Every project we work on, big or small, starts with a full Home Performance Inspection and a plan of action created by a Home Performance Sales Team member.  Here you can see the plan and what it resulted in.

Herndon, VA Crawlspace Enhancement

This Herndon, VA home had a need for crawl space improvement.  Improved insulation and sealing the crawl space off from unconditioned outdoor air was the solution identified by our sales pro who inspected the home.   The production crew removed the old ineffective insulation. After that, they applied spray foam insulation to the rim joists to help make sure that the rooms above the crawlspace were able to maintain a normal temperature. Finally, the crew installed spray foam on the crawlspace walls as the primary form of insulation to keep the home comfortable year-round.

Herndon VA Crawl Space Transformation Project

This Herndon VA home had a vented crawl space that had insulation falling from the ceiling of the crawl space.  That insulation was meant to help control the temperature of the floors and rooms above but was not doing the job.  The crawl space being vented meant that external air was able to come into the home and bring with it allergens and dust along with whatever outside temperatures were happening.  Our production team removed all of the old insulation, sealed up the air vents and then used spray foam to insulate the walls and rim joist of the crawl space.  this turned the area in a controlled space with no impact from outside temperatures or air.  Although taken at slightly different angles and distances, these images are of the same exact corner of the crawl space before and after our team did their work.
